Failure to Comply
Persons participating in diving under the auspices of the University without official diving authorization may be placing themselves and the University at unacceptable risk. In circumstances of suspected non-compliance with University policy on diving, the Diving Safety Coordinator shall notify the Executive Director of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health. When appropriate, notification will be sent to the individual's immediate supervisor or advisor, department chairperson, college dean's office, Vice President of Research, and Office of Research Administration.
