Licensing
Annual licenses are issued by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) for all permanent food service facilities on campus. This process is completed in accordance with the Michigan Food Law. Thirty days prior to opening a food service facility on campus a Food Service License Application must be completed and submitted to the UM OSEH office at 1239 Kipke Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1010. Please note that construction of any type, acquisition of new equipment, or replacement of any equipment may require a plan review prior to beginning construction.
