- supervise the engineering controls certification programs including biological safety cabinets, local exhaust ventilation, laminar flow device, and fume hoods
- provide health and safety technical advice on laboratory procedures and processes
- conduct laboratory health and safety audits
- conduct indoor environmental quality investigations
- chemical, biological, and physical hazard exposure monitoring and analysis
- manage the OSEH PDA based inspection and reporting program
