Way to Go Green, Blue! In July 1998, faculty and staff at the North Ingalls Building collected an incredible 7.13 tons of paper for recycling as the result of cleaning out one single records room!

Way to Go Green, Blue! The Ann Arbor Historic District Commission will be granting Nichols Arboretum the Preservation Project of the Year Award at a ceremony May 13th at City Hall. The "Arb" is being recognized for moving and rehabilitating the James D. Reader, Jr. Urban Environmental Education Center.

PLANTINGS

Nichols Arboretum has a number of volunteer programs for interested individuals. Prairie burns in the fall and spring, monthly weeding sessions, and plantings days are just a few of the options. You can also help by becoming an Arb tour guide, and by working on special events such as the Birdathon and the ArbFest. The Arb’s volunteer page has more information.
